Ground Beef Tacos

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 yellow onion, diced

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 pound grass-fed ground beef

  • 3 tablespoons Taco Seasoning

  • 3 tablespoons - ¼ cup beef bone broth or water

TACO SEASONING

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • ½ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt

SERVE WITH

  • Pickled red onions

  • Guacamole

  • Sour cream

  • Cilantro

  • Romaine lettuce, chopped

  • Raw shredded cheese

  • Homemade masa harina tortillas

PREPARATION

  1. Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium high heat. Add onion and garlic and saute until onions are translucent.

  2. Add the ground beef and chop and stir until browned. Drain the excess grease from the meat and place back in the skillet.

  3. Add Taco Seasoning and water (or bone broth) and mix until well

    combined. Simmer on low for about 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. Serve with a homemade tortilla and your favorite toppings.
